DIRECTV announced today that they are offering a free Apple TV 4K with 4 Months of prepaid DIRECTV NOW service. The service is usually $50 per month and the Apple TV 4K is generally $179. You’re essentially getting 4 months of programming for $21 and there is no commitment or contract beyond the first 4 months.
The DIRECTV NOW Plus package even includes HBO. Just in time for the final season of Game Of Thrones premiering later this month. Is this a good deal? Only if you’re in need of an Apple TV 4K and considering DIRECTV NOW service.
For marketers, this is just another example of why OTT, and streaming video in general, must be a part of your marketing strategy in 2019!
